The content of your responses (excluding any personal details) will be shared in the SCI.

Comments sent to us are not formal submissions to Northumberland Council. There will be an opportunity to give feedback directly to the Council as part of determining the planning application.
We intend to submit an application for this new community at Middle Farm early in 2024. Once the application has been submitted and validated, you will be able to view the application and all the relevant documents on the Council’s website.
When the consultation events have finished and the deadline for comments has closed, on 15th December 2023, all comments and feedback provided will be carefully reviewed and the design of the proposals reconsidered by the project team in light of the comments received.
A planning application is intended to be submitted to Northumberland County Council in early 2024. Once the application has been submitted, you will be able to view the application and all the relevant documents on the Council’s website.
Before this stage, you will see a request for Scoping on the Council’s website. We will submit this to agree with the Council what potential environmental effects need to be assessed as part of the application.
When the application has been submitted, the Council will then undertake formal public consultation on the scheme, where interested parties will be able to submit any comments to the Council directly.
Should the application be approved, it is likely that it will be 2-3 years, after the submission of the application before any development begins on site.
